Everyone should have an aran jumper in his or her wardrobe.  Knowing this we, at Laurel Farm alpacas, have based our knitwear range on this classic type of garment.

Each jumper is hand knitted and based on traditional aran patterns.   The White and Fawn jumpers this year are all in Aran wool and the brown and black jumpers are knitted in traditional aran patterns but the wool is Double Knitting, giving these garments a slightly lighter and finer feel.  The main wonder of the Alpaca jumper is the softness combined with lightness.   As soon as you put on one of our aran hand knitted sweaters, you will start to feel warm and cosseted.

No dye is used in the preparation of our wool, which means that the colour will remain constant for the life of the garment.

Garment Care
Hand knitted alpaca  garments should be hand washed in warm water, rolled gently in a towel to remove as much excess water as possible, and then dried flat without using heat.
